The Zellner Brothers, Nathan and David respectively, have been making short films and music videos for years. Their films do not attempt to astonish you with high-budget visuals, but instead they shock by concept and execution. PRISM index’s favorite thing about the Zellner’s is their ability to make the minute into something magnificent. As you’ll see on the DVD in PRISM index #1, their film “Who’s On First” deconstructs the classic Abbot and Costello sketch by retelling it with language barriers, thereby missing every original comedic beat and in PRISM’s opinion making it better.
The brothers have recently released their first feature length film entitled, “Goliath” which screened at the Sundance Film Festival among many others and is distributed through IFC.
