Dragging an Ox Through Water
Dragging an Ox Through Water is the moniker of the electronic-freak-folk artist Brian Mumford. Mumford mostly lives in Portland, Oregon. His album, “The Tropics of Phenomenon,” was released on the Awesome Vistas label, out of Portland, and was soon after, re-released by Pete Swanson (of Yellow Swans) on his Freedom To Spend label. Mumford also associates himself with such groups as Musical Impressions, Sun Foot, JOMF, Occupation / Preoccupation, Thicket, and Jewelry Rash.
