David Lightbourne
David Lightbourne was featured in PRISM index #1 in a short documentary by Michael Hurley. He had an encyclopedic memory and passion for American music written up until the end of the year 1959. Hurley called him “The InformaTon,” for his predilection to impart obscure knowledge regarding pre-war blues, jazz, country and folk upon anyone that engaged him in a conversation. He was founder of The Metropolitan Jug Band and curator of the eclectic music festival “The Upland Breakdown” in Laramie, WY. He passed away in June of 2010
