Arrington is best known as the lead singer and writer of the seminal K Records band, Old Time Relijun. The band has been together in different forms for almost 15 years. Over those years they have mastered their own brand of free-jazz, Afro-jam heavy beats, and Arrington’s possessed vocal arrangements. Something about the band is still as fresh as ever, they’re tight and clean chaos, and your spine just might rip itself out of your body and break-dance on the floor.

Arrington keeps himself busy by constantly working on art and music installations along with his solo throat singing/noise project and his epic outsider watercolor paintings. You can hear and see both of these in PRISM index #1. The CD contains Arrington de Dionyso- voice and bass clarinet, and Nusch Werchowska, piano and objects, at La Terra Trema Festival in Cherbourg, France, in May of 2007. Inside the print version is a series of six paintings in four-color offset, called “You Penetrate My Heart.” Arrington believes, “You listen to me perform my music; you listen to my soul. In the paintings, you view it on paper.”
