Designers

PRISM index is unique in the way that its content and tone is intrinsically tied to the art and artists collected within. Each artist is completely different from one another; however, once together, a link between them is formed. Much like a museum or gallery these artists create a dialogue and because of that, PRISM index could not justify having only one designer. Similarly, all artist credit is given only in the table of contents and index, except for non-fiction pieces where the names are integral to the story, so as each page was recognized for what it presented, instead of who presented it. The design style was an attempt to allow designers to function as collaborators, as much as any of the other artist contributors, and their role, in no small way, helped form the compilation.
